The CorvetsArthur Conley (1946–2003), an American soul singer, gained fame for his 1967 hit "Sweet Soul Music," which showcased his collaboration with Otis Redding and achieved significant commercial success. Born in Georgia and active from 1959 to 1988, he later relocated to Europe, where he adopted the name Lee Roberts and continued his music career, partly due to challenges he faced related to his sexual orientation. Following a battle with intestinal cancer, Conley passed away in the Netherlands at 57. (Source: Wikipedia)
