Marco Nick And The Venetians

Marco Vélez is a Puerto Rican former footballer born on June 26, 1980, in Carolina, who played as a defender and is currently a coach for Puerto Rico Surf SC. His professional career spanned from 2002 to 2012, during which he played for teams including the Seattle Sounders and Toronto FC, becoming the first native Puerto Rican to participate in Major League Soccer. Vélez also represented the Puerto Rico national team from 2004 to 2012, serving as captain and scoring one goal. Transitioning to coaching post-retirement, he has held various positions, including head coach roles at Bayamón FC and the Puerto Rico U17 national team.
