The Matys Brothers

The Matys Brothers were an American lounge act comprising four singing comedians from Chester, Pennsylvania. They gained popularity in the 1950s with hits like "Muskrat Ramble" and "Who Stole the Keeshka?" and recorded for various labels, including Decca and Bill Haley's Clymax. Known for their musical versatility, the group often performed polka music and toured extensively in venues on the West Coast, including Las Vegas and Reno. Though they struggled with the demands of their careers, they left a notable legacy in the music scene until the deaths of members Emil and Gene in the late 2000s and early 1990s, respectively.
