Sky JohnsonC/2015 V2 (Johnson) is a hyperbolic comet discovered by Jess Johnson on November 3, 2015, with an apparent magnitude of 17.1. It has a semimajor axis of 59,200 AU and an eccentricity of 1.0009, indicating its hyperbolic trajectory after leaving the Solar System. Although it was expected to be visible to the naked eye in 2017, it ultimately reached a magnitude of only 7.1. Characterized by low activity and lack of typical emissions early in its orbit, the comet displayed jets and was studied for its water production and unique physical characteristics.
