Harlan Powell

Nate Powell, born in 1978 in Little Rock, Arkansas, is an acclaimed American graphic novelist and musician, notable for his influential works in the graphic novel genre. His acclaimed graphic novel "Swallow Me Whole" won multiple awards, including the Ignatz and Eisner Awards. He gained significant recognition as the illustrator of the "March" trilogy, co-created with Congressman John Lewis and Andrew Aydin, which won the 2016 National Book Award and made Powell the first cartoonist to earn this honor. Powell's career spans various storytelling forms and artistic contributions, making him a prominent figure in contemporary graphic literature.
