Jack Larson

Jack Larson (February 8, 1928 – September 20, 2015) was an American actor, librettist, screenwriter, and producer, best known for his role as Jimmy Olsen on the television series Adventures of Superman from 1952 to 1958. Following his early success, he faced typecasting and shifted his focus to writing and production, contributing to various theatrical and film projects. Over the years, he became more appreciative of his iconic character and made several cameos in Superman-related productions. Larson was also noted for his long-term partnership with director James Bridges until Bridges' death in 1993, and he continued to engage with the entertainment community until his passing at age 87.
