Gordon Terry

Terry Gordon Cameron, born on October 19, 1946, is a former South Australian politician known for his tenure in the Legislative Council, which began in 1994. Initially a member of the Labor Party, he resigned in 1998 to support the Olsen Liberal government's legislation and subsequently formed the short-lived SA First party. Cameron attempted to regain a seat as an independent in the 2006 elections but was unsuccessful. Before his political career, he served as the State Secretary of the Labor Party and worked for the Australian Workers' Union. He is the nephew of former politician Clyde Cameron.
