Kris Jensen

Kris Jensen, born Peter Kristian Jensen on April 4, 1942, in New Haven, Connecticut, is an American singer, bassist, and guitarist known for his contributions to pop and rockabilly music. He began his musical career in 1959 with Colpix Records but achieved notable success in 1962 with his hit "Torture," reaching No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. Although this became his only significant hit, he recorded over 30 songs throughout his career and worked with notable producers in the 1970s. His work has been featured in various reissues and soundtracks, reflecting his influence in the genre.
