Don Adams

Don Adams (1923–2005) was an American actor best known for his role as Maxwell Smart in the television series "Get Smart," which aired from 1965 to 1970. Throughout his career, Adams won three Emmy Awards for his comedic performance and also contributed his voice to animated shows such as "Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales" and "Inspector Gadget." Beyond acting, he directed and occasionally wrote for "Get Smart." His career spanned over five decades, during which he became a beloved figure in American television, although later projects did not match the success of his iconic role. Adams passed away in 2005 from lymphoma and lung infection.
