The JarmelsThe Jarmels were an American doo wop rhythm and blues group formed in 1959 in Richmond, Virginia, best known for their 1961 hit "A Little Bit of Soap," which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard chart. After a successful audition for Laurie Records, they released several singles throughout the 1960s but never replicated the success of "Soap," ultimately disbanding in 1969. The group experienced multiple personnel changes and included notable member Major Harris, who later joined the Delfonics. (Source: Wikipedia)
