Charlie Drake

Charlie Drake, born Charles Edward Springall on June 19, 1925, was a notable English comedian, actor, singer, and writer who gained fame from the 1950s to the 2000s. Known for his slapstick humor and the catchphrase "Hello, my darlings," he became a television staple with shows like "The Worker" and "The Charlie Drake Show." His career included accolades for both his comedic performances and later dramatic roles, as well as several hit singles in the UK music charts. Drake's career was marked by his extreme physical comedy and a serious injury during a live performance, after which he returned to television in the 1960s. He passed away on December 23, 2006, after suffering multiple strokes.
