Slim Guitar

Guitar Slim, born Eddie Jones in 1926, was an influential American guitarist and songwriter active in the 1940s and 1950s, known for his hit "The Things That I Used to Do," which sold over a million copies and is recognized in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His innovative use of guitar distortion predates Jimi Hendrix, and his vibrant performance style, which included flamboyant attire and dramatic stage antics, contributed to his legacy in the development of rock and roll and soul music before his death in 1959.
