Katyna RanieriKatyna Ranieri (1925–2018), born Caterina Ranieri, was an esteemed Italian singer recognized for her contributions to music and film from 1945 until her passing. She gained prominence in 1954 at the Sanremo Music Festival and became well-known for her rendition of "Ti guarderĂ² nel cuore," the Italian version of the Mondo Cane theme, which she performed at the 1964 Academy Awards, marking her as the first Italian singer to do so. Ranieri also had a successful acting career and was married to composer Riz Ortolani. She died in Rome at the age of 93. (Source: Wikipedia)
