Johnny KeatingJohnny Keating (1927–2015) was a Scottish musician, songwriter, arranger, and trombonist known for his significant contributions to music, particularly in the UK. He first gained prominence in the 1950s as the primary arranger for Ted Heath's big band and later produced numerous hits for artists like Eden Kane, Adam Faith, and Petula Clark. Notably, his composition "Theme from Z-Cars" became a popular football anthem, and he had a notable career in film scoring. Keating was also an educator and published a reference book on songwriting.
