Pink Frijid

Frijid Pink is an American rock band formed in Detroit in 1967, recognized for their 1969 hit rendition of "The House of the Rising Sun," which reached the Top Ten on the US Billboard Hot 100. Originally active from 1967 to 1975, and reformed in 2007, the band is known for its contributions to psychedelic and blues rock and gained popularity by performing alongside notable Detroit acts like the MC5 and the Stooges. Frijid Pink's evolving lineup has seen the release of various albums and singles, and they were inducted into the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame in 2013.
