Daily Pete Dixieland BandPete Daily (1911–1986) was an American Dixieland jazz cornetist and valve trombonist, notable for his driving style that garnered significant recognition in the jazz community. He began his career in Chicago in 1930, later moving to the West Coast, where he formed Pete Daily and his Chicagoans post-World War II. Daily gained popularity in the 1940s and 1950s, performing in notable venues like Sardi's nightclub and appearing in films such as "Yes Sir, Mr. Bones" and "Pete Kelly's Blues."
