The Cowsills

The Cowsills are an American vocal group from Newport, Rhode Island, formed in 1965 and consisting of six siblings and their mother. Known for their harmonies and early hits like "The Rain, The Park and Other Things," which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, they were influential in the sunshine pop genre and inspired the TV show "The Partridge Family." Active initially until 1972, the group has since reunited multiple times, continuing to perform and release music, with members pursuing various solo careers in music.
