Merrilee Rush

Merrilee Rush, born Merrilee Gunst on January 26, 1944, is an American singer recognized for her 1968 hit "Angel of the Morning," which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned her a Grammy nomination. She began her career in the 1960s, performing with various bands before establishing herself as a solo artist. Rush has continued to perform and was inducted into the California Music Hall of Fame in 2023. Throughout her career, she has appeared on numerous television programs and has released several singles and albums, remaining active in music into the 21st century.
