Merrilee RushMerrilee Rush, born Merrilee Gunst on January 26, 1944, is an American singer recognized for her 1968 hit "Angel of the Morning," which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned her a Grammy nomination. She began her career in the 1960s, performing with various bands before establishing herself as a solo artist. Rush has continued to perform and was inducted into the California Music Hall of Fame in 2023.
