Mooney Art & His Orchestra

Mike Pingitore (October 14, 1888 – October 30, 1952) was an American banjo player known for his role in Paul Whiteman's Orchestra, where he played in the rhythm section from 1919 to 1948, with a brief hiatus due to illness in 1923. He contributed to the jazz genre and was featured on Art Mooney's hit "I'm Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover," which topped the Billboard pop chart in 1948. Pingitore was posthumously inducted into the American Banjo Museum Hall of Fame in 2005.
