Morales Noro And His Orchestra

Pellín Rodríguez (1926-1984) was a prominent Puerto Rican salsa singer, best known for his contributions to the genre through his tenure with the musical group El Gran Combo. Active from 1942 to 1984, he gained fame touring throughout Latin America and Europe and recorded over 100 songs with El Gran Combo. Additionally recognized for his comedic talents, Rodríguez moved on to a successful solo career, producing multiple albums and earning awards, including gold and platinum records. He continued to influence the salsa scene until his death from a stroke at age 57.
