Sunny Schwartz

Elizabeth Schwartz, born in 1964, is an American vocalist known for her work in klezmer music and the Romanian Yiddish dialect. She began her music career in 1994 and has collaborated with various notable artists while primarily recording with her husband, Yale Strom, and their band, Hot Pstromi. Schwartz gained recognition for becoming the first woman to sing at the Eldridge Street Synagogue in 2012, breaking a longstanding ban. In addition to her musical career, she has co-authored books and audio dramas, highlighting her contributions to both music and literature in Jewish culture.
