Matt DennisMatt Dennis (1914–2002) was an influential American musician, songwriter, and bandleader known for his contributions to popular music. He began his career in the 1930s with Horace Heidt's orchestra and later collaborated with prominent artists, notably writing hits like "Angel Eyes" and "Everything Happens to Me." After serving in World War II, he resumed his music career, also working as a music director for broadcast programs. Dennis's works have been widely recorded, and his compositions continue to be celebrated in the jazz genre. He passed away in Riverside, California, at the age of 88. (Source: Wikipedia)
