Mission Montfort

Milt Okun (1923–2016) was an influential American singer, record producer, and founder of Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company. His career spanned over five decades, during which he played a pivotal role in transforming the careers of numerous notable artists in the folk and pop genres, including John Denver, Peter, Paul and Mary, and the Chad Mitchell Trio. Okun was recognized for his extensive range as a producer and arranger and received the Abe Olman Publisher Award in 2008. He published his memoir, "Along the Cherry Lane," in 2011, reflecting on his significant contributions to the music industry before his passing at age 92.
