Blue Thumb Records was an American record label founded in 1968 by Bob Krasnow, Tommy LiPuma, and Don Graham, known for its diverse roster that included artists like The Crusaders, The Pointer Sisters, and Captain Beefheart. Active until 1978 and then revived from 1995 to 2005, Blue Thumb was recognized for its contributions to various genres, especially blues and soft rock, before being ultimately deactivated and its catalog absorbed by Universal Music Group's Verve label.
