Mike SettleMike Settle, born on March 20, 1941, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is an American singer-songwriter, journalist, and broadcaster. He began his career as a member of The New Christy Minstrels and later gained prominence as a member of Kenny Rogers and The First Edition from 1967 to 1970, where he wrote notable songs such as "But You Know I Love You." Settle also contributed to various musical projects, including the Sugar Bears and the soundtrack for the film Vanishing Point, and his works have been covered by multiple artists across different eras.
