Bill Carlisle

Bill Carlisle (1908-2003) was an influential American country music singer, songwriter, comedian, and guitarist known for his work in the late 1940s and 1950s. A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, he gained fame for novelty songs and performances that showcased his energetic style, earning him the nickname "Jumpin' Bill." During his career, he recorded notable hits like "No Help Wanted" and "Too Old to Cut the Mustard", and he was a regular on the Grand Ole Opry and television shows such as ABC's Ozark Jubilee until his death shortly after his last performance in 2003.
