Dick Kallman

Dick Kallman (1933–1980) was an American actor notable for his title role in the television sitcom "Hank" (1965-1966) and for his work on Broadway, including performances in the musical "Half a Sixpence." Born into a wealthy family in Brooklyn, Kallman also had a career as a singer, releasing several albums of pop standards. He was tragically murdered alongside his partner in 1980 during a robbery in their Manhattan apartment. Kallman's life, including his career and untimely death, has drawn attention in various cultural narratives, including a fictionalized account published in 2023.
