The Halifax ThreeThe Halifax Three, originally known as the Colonials, was a Canadian folk music band active in the 1960s, comprised of members Denny Doherty, Pat LaCroix, Richard Byrne, and later Zal Yanovsky. After originating in Halifax and gaining recognition in Toronto and Montreal, they became involved in the New York folk scene, released two albums through Epic Records, and performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall before disbanding in 1965. Following their split, members pursued various successful music careers, including associations with bands like the Mamas & the Papas and the Lovin' Spoonful. (Source: Wikipedia)
