Bob Florence

Bob Florence (1932-2008) was an American pianist, composer, arranger, and big band leader known for his contributions to jazz and big band music. A child prodigy, he gained early acclaim and went on to work with notable figures such as Les Brown and Harry James, winning a Grammy in 1960 for his arrangement of "(Up A) Lazy River." Throughout his career, he was active in Hollywood music, earning multiple Emmy Awards and Grammy nominations, while leading his own big band, the Bob Florence Limited Edition. He passed away at the age of 75.
