Herb GellerHerb Geller (1928–2013) was an American jazz saxophonist, composer, and arranger known for his extensive career spanning from the 1940s until his death. Born in Los Angeles, he achieved prominence through his work with notable jazz figures, including Clifford Brown and Benny Goodman, and had a significant influence on the jazz scene in Europe after moving there in the 1950s. Geller's contributions to jazz also included teaching and composing, and he was recognized with various accolades including the "New Star Award" from DownBeat magazine in 1955.
