Bob Kames

Bob Kames (1925–2008) was an American musician known for his contributions to polka music, notably popularizing "The Chicken Dance," originally titled "Dance Little Bird." Over his career, he recorded more than seventy albums and hosted television specials featuring various artists. Kames was also a successful music store owner in Milwaukee and was inducted into the Wisconsin Area Music Industry's Hall of Fame. His legacy includes a significant impact on family-oriented music and performances, with colorful interactions in the entertainment community until his passing due to Alzheimer's disease and prostate cancer.
