Hearts & Flowers

Hearts & Flowers was an American folk rock group based in Los Angeles, active from 1965 to 1968, notable for launching the career of Bernie Leadon, a founding member of the Eagles. The band, consisting of Larry Murray, Dave Dawson, and Rick Cunha, blended various musical influences and was influential in the development of the Southern California country-rock sound, despite struggling with internal tensions and direction. They released two albums under Capitol Records but disbanded shortly after, prior to the rise of the country-rock genre in popular music.
