Richard Podolor (1936–2022) was an influential American record producer, songwriter, and musician, best known for his work with the rock band Three Dog Night. Beginning his career as a session musician in the 1950s, he gained prominence for producing hits for various artists, including Steppenwolf and Alice Cooper. Podolor's contributions shaped the sound of multiple major recordings and established him as a key figure in the music industry from the 1960s through the 1980s. He passed away in March 2022 at the age of 86.
