The Moody Blues

The Moody Blues were an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1964, originally emerging from the British beat and R&B scenes. They gained fame with their 1964 hit "Go Now" and became pioneers of art rock and progressive rock, particularly with their landmark 1967 album "Days of Future Passed." The band's lineup evolved over the years, with key members including Graeme Edge, Justin Hayward, and John Lodge. Known for their fusion of rock and classical music, they enjoyed commercial success throughout the late 1960s to the 1970s and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018. The Moody Blues sold 70 million albums worldwide before disbanding in 2018.
