The Kirby Stone Four

The Kirby Stone Four was an American vocal group formed in New York City in the years following World War II, gaining popularity in the 1950s and early 1960s. Notable for their fusion of swing jazz and early rock and roll, they achieved success with hits like "Baubles, Bangles and Beads," which reached No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1958 and was Grammy-nominated. Their performances included numerous television appearances and collaborations with prominent musicians, and they recorded several LPs before their sound transitioned to that of the Ray Conniff Orchestra and Singers by the mid-1960s.
