The Mills BrothersThe Mills Brothers were an influential American vocal jazz and pop quartet, active from 1925 to 1982, known for their innovative vocal harmonies and ability to mimic instruments. Originating from Piqua, Ohio, they achieved remarkable success, selling over 50 million records and becoming the first Black artists with a national radio show in 1930, as well as scoring a No. 1 hit with "Paper Doll" in 1943. Their legacy includes three dozen gold records and an induction into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1998. The group later consisted of Donald, Herbert, and Harry Mills after the death of John Jr., and continued performing until the late 20th century. (Source: Wikipedia)
