The Cryan' Shames

The Cryan' Shames are an American garage rock band from Hinsdale, Illinois, originally formed in 1966 under the name The Travelers. Known for their hit cover of "Sugar and Spice," the band achieved local success in Chicago but never gained national prominence, releasing several albums influenced by sunshine pop and psychedelic rock. Over the years, they have undergone numerous lineup changes and continue to tour, with their contributions recognized in 2023 when they were inducted into the Illinois Rock and Roll Museum Hall of Fame.
