Mrs. Mills

Gladys Mills, known as Mrs. Mills, was an English pianist born on August 29, 1918, and active primarily during the 1960s and 1970s. Renowned for her sing-along party tunes performed in a distinctive stride piano style, she gained significant popularity after her 1961 single "Mrs. Mills Medley" entered the UK Singles Chart. Throughout her career, she made numerous television appearances and toured internationally, earning acclaim in countries with large British expatriate communities. Mrs. Mills passed away on February 24, 1978, but left a lasting impact, including her association with the iconic "Mrs. Mills Piano" at Abbey Road Studios.
