Mac WisemanMac Wiseman (1925–2019) was an influential American bluegrass and country singer known for his extensive career spanning over seven decades. He played a significant role in the evolution of bluegrass music, initially as a guitarist for Flatt and Scruggs' Foggy Mountain Boys and as a co-founder of the Country Music Association. Wiseman achieved solo success with hits like "The Ballad of Davy Crockett" and "Jimmy Brown the Newsboy," earning multiple accolades including induction into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
