The Wilburn BrothersThe Wilburn Brothers were an American country music duo consisting of Virgil Doyle Wilburn and Thurman Theodore "Teddy" Wilburn, active primarily from the 1950s to the 1970s. Originally performing as child artists, they gained prominence in the country music scene through their work with the Grand Ole Opry and their own television show, while also helping launch the careers of notable musicians like Loretta Lynn. Their successful recording career included several hits and they were recognized for their contributions to the genre, remaining members of the Opry until Doyle's death in 1982 and Teddy's in 2003.
