Warwick Dee Dee

Dee Dee Warwick, born Delia Juanita Warrick in 1942, was an American soul singer known for her work in the 1960s and 1970s. She was the sister of artist Dionne Warwick and a prominent figure in the music industry, recognized for hits like "I Want to Be with You" and "Foolish Fool." Throughout her career, Warwick had a significant impact as one of the first openly lesbian performers in music, and she was nominated for Grammy Awards twice. She continued to perform until her health declined, leading to her death in 2008 at the age of 66.
