Turner Ike & TinaIke & Tina Turner was a prominent American musical duo, active from 1960 to 1976, consisting of husband-and-wife Ike and Tina Turner. They were known for their powerful live performances and influential contributions to R&B, soul, and rock music, selling over 10 million records. Hit songs like "A Fool In Love," "Proud Mary," and "River Deep – Mountain High," as well as a successful UK tour with the Rolling Stones, cemented their popularity. Despite their musical success, their tumultuous marriage led to their disbandment, and both subsequently pursued solo careers, with Tina finding immense success. They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1991. (Source: Wikipedia)
