René Henri And His Orchestra

Henri René, born Harold Manfred Kirchstein on December 29, 1906, in New York City, was an influential American musician renowned for his work as a composer, conductor, and record producer. Active primarily from the mid-1920s through the 1960s, he had a significant career in the recording industry with RCA Victor and was recognized for his successful records, including "Cuckoo Waltz" and "Beer Barrel Polka." He also played a pivotal role in television music, contributing scores for popular shows and working with notable artists such as Harry Belafonte and Perry Como. René passed away on April 25, 1993, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his contributions to music.
