Ryder Mitch & The Detroit Wheels

Mitch Ryder, born William Sherille Levise Jr. on February 26, 1945, in Hamtramck, Michigan, is an American rock singer known for his work with the band Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels in the 1960s, producing notable hits such as "Devil with a Blue Dress On" and "Jenny Take a Ride!" After a successful early career, Ryder faced challenges in the 1970s but made a notable return in the 1980s with the album "Never Kick a Sleeping Dog." He continues to perform and has influenced various artists in rock music, earning inductions into multiple rock and blues halls of fame.
