Jim Reeves

Jim Reeves (1923-1964) was an American singer and songwriter known for his pivotal role in the development of the Nashville sound, significantly influencing country music in the 1960s. Affectionately nicknamed "Gentleman Jim," Reeves gained fame with hits like "He'll Have to Go" and continued to chart posthumously after his death in a plane crash. He was inducted into both the Country Music and Texas Country Music Halls of Fame, and his music enjoyed immense popularity internationally, particularly in South Africa and the UK.
