Jimmy ReedJimmy Reed (1925–1976) was an influential American blues musician and songwriter known for his unique electric blues style. He gained popularity in the 1950s with hits like "Honest I Do," "Baby What You Want Me to Do," and "Big Boss Man," charting on both R&B and pop charts. Reed's music significantly influenced a wide range of artists, including The Rolling Stones and Elvis Presley. Despite personal struggles with alcoholism and health issues, he remained active until his death in 1976, and he was posthumously inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
