Wayne Raney

Wayne Raney (1921–1993) was an influential American country singer and harmonica player known for his contributions to country music from the 1930s to the 1980s. He gained fame through hits like "Why Don't You Haul Off and Love Me" and played significant roles in popularizing the harmonica and country music on various radio platforms. Besides recording, he worked as a DJ and label owner, eventually entering semi-retirement to manage a chicken farm. Raney received posthumous recognition for his lifetime achievements in country music.
