Ray Peterson

Ray Peterson (1935–2005) was an American pop singer known for his hit singles, particularly "Tell Laura I Love Her" and "The Wonder of You". Active from 1958 to 2004, Peterson's music style included traditional pop, country, and rockabilly. Although he faced challenges such as polio in his youth, he achieved notable success during the late 1950s and early 1960s, working with RCA Victor and later starting his own record label. In addition to his musical career, he became a Baptist minister and was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame before his death from colon cancer.
