Peter Paul & MaryPeter, Paul and Mary was an American folk group formed in 1961 in New York City, comprising Peter Yarrow, Paul Stookey, and Mary Travers. Active mainly during the early 1960s, they played a significant role in the folk music revival, gaining fame for their hits like "Puff, the Magic Dragon" and "Blowin' in the Wind" and participating in notable events such as the March on Washington. Their debut album achieved significant success, helping to popularize the genre. After disbanding in 1970, they reunited multiple times until Travers's death in 2009, and Yarrow's passing in 2025, leaving Stookey as the last surviving member. (Source: Wikipedia)
