The Montgomery Brothers

The Montgomery Brothers were an American jazz trio active during the 1950s and 1960s, consisting of Wes Montgomery on electric guitar, Buddy Montgomery on piano and vibraphone, and Monk Montgomery on electric and double bass. They gained prominence in the jazz scene through recordings and performances, including their work with the Montgomery-Johnson Quintet and later as the Mastersounds, and are noted for their collaboration with producer Quincy Jones. Their discography includes several albums released under various labels, contributing to their legacy in jazz music.
